Comparing Koryo-Saram and Nikkeijin

Since becoming curious about various topics in Kazakhstan, I saw this thing about the Koryo-Saram, which both Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan has a sizable minority. Well, the Koryo-Saram in Uzbekistan has more problems than the Kazakh-Koryo-Sarams. And why I at times compare them to the Brazilian/Peruvian/Filipino Nikkeijin?

Here we go.

For starters, Koryo-Sarams are the Koreans that were deported to Central Asia from mainland Korea by Josif Staljin during his heyday as the USSR madman. The Koryo-Saram, like the Japanese-Brazilians and Japanese-Americans maintained their own culture while slowly but surely learning ho to use the land they have for farming and other stuffs.

Fast-forward. Most Kazakh-Koreans are successful just like the Japanese-Americans. But the Uzbek-Koreans have fair worse since the collapse of the Uzbek economy. Since the late 2000's, the Uzbek-Koreans tried their best: learning Korean and trying to go and live on their ancestors' homeland: South Korea. Well, the problem is on the 4th generation Koryo-Saram, since Korean Law won't allow any 4th generation Korean from their diaspora to stay when they reach 19, causing social problems among the Koryo-Saram living in Korea, despite learning Korean fluently.

Same here although some differences with the Nikkeijin, which I am a member of, but won't specify what country, due to personal issues if I disclose it now. A Japanese Law may have been put to limit the entry of Nikkeijin, for reasons I may not disclosed. As a Sansei, I feel the pain of those that can't go here of whatever reasons, mainly to work their hearts out and not to have a chip on their shoulders. Same as for the Koryo-Saram that may face the same issues that even if most of them are full-blooded Koreans and speak fluent Korean than how I am not yet fluent in my Japanese, they are viewed as foreigners since they were born in Central Asia.

I don't know why, these diasporas are facing these issues on their ancestral homelands, to work and not to remain an individual or a group of people that will never have a chip on their shoulder!

My Thoughts on the recent airstrikes against Syria

The recent bombing of Syria is just another scripted bombing like last year. Well, no matter how Donald Trump bomb Syria to rubble, unless he won't fire Robert Mueller as the chief of the FBI, he will be called a Russian agent by the Fake News. Of course, Mueller made a deal with both Democans and the war-freak among the Republicrats. I won't name those people so that they won't sue me. HAHAHAHA.

We were told that Donald Trump ordered to shoot down any Russian jets or missiles that will stop American missiles going into Damascus. Vladimir Putin ordered a standby of his grand fleet. And thankfully, no world war happened. Why?

Seems that both Trump and Putin aren't even pointing knives to each other but, to stage a show to keep us amused on what's really happening in both countries. Russia is being blamed by the UK for poisoning the traitor named Skripal and his daughter, when they volunteered to be "poisoned" to put the blame on Putin.

Trump on the other hand "bombed" Syria in targets he may have leaked to Bashar Al-Assad in a secret agreement to shift the news away from MUUUUEELLER, DOSSSIIIER, LOCK HER UUUUUP, TRUMP IS A RAAACCCCIST, COOOOMEY, REPUBLICAAANS, DEMOCRAAATS and other stupid topics you can say while sounding like a goat. Of course, his family is being targeted and some Johnny Come Lately tries to go close with Trump, while being one of the Fake Conservatives by using his position in FOX News to dupe Trump into doing this and that. That's The Wallbanger for you.

Meanwhile in Serbia, one of the targets by Bill Clinton to remove Monica Lewinsky off the headlines back in 1999, Boris Malagurski credited Nipper-Tuck Carlson's criticism of Trump's bombing of Syria, when another Conservative and Trump supporter who spoke out for the Serbian people since Milosrdni Anđeo named Michael Savage doesn't even get credit! When did Nipper-Tuck Carlson spoke for the Serbian people?!?!?!?! See, even some Independent media personalities doesn't even know of Dr. Savage because FOX News is blocking him, through David Limbaugh, The Wallbanger and the others.

Ohh well, but I hope Trump just fire Mueller, The Walrus and live with the consequences, than to "bomb" Syria and face a future impeachment by the Democans and those in his own party that wants him out.

Delivery Horror Stories

Something keeps me troubled since the eve of this year's Uskrs. I don't know if it was a certain big company or the local delivery company that receives the transfers from the latter. Well, it still haunts me that my future orders, I shall call them and notify my address, or it will happen again.

Last week on Veliki Petak, I called this well known delivery company to have my set of wines be delivered on Saturday, before 8pm, and the time range is 4pm-6pm. Then, after coming home from the Velika Subota Liturgija, I schlept until around 4pm. Then, I woke up they called me, but I don't know if they'll deliver it on the spot. Oh, I ate and prepared; well everyone knows it but it's family show. I waited for how many hours, expecting it will arrive a bit late even before 9pm. Oh, it never arrived on that time.

I got angry, but tried my best not to bent my frustration so that I can focus on the Uskrs Liturgija procession, Liturgija and the party. Well, I managed to be calm, and friends told me not to worry about my package not arriving. Someone even told to forgive them. Well, I calmed down when I woke up a bit, to call them and told my address, so they won't have an excuse next time on not locating my apartment. So, it it was delivered on that time, and next time, I have to calm down.

Well, have lots to tell about my other delivery horror stories, but this one is the most of all too "horror" of them all.

Yearly Easter Message

Every year, there's the Easter Liturgy and midnight(morning) dinner party. Every year, we fast and prepared for Christ's resurrection after conquering our sins by dying on the cross and conquering Hades in the process. Here's my thoughts about this year's Easter.

Lot of things are happening in the world now, it's somewhat disappointing that we don't have time to come back to God. But, to those that started on coming back to God, we can survive our purges and the most difficult times in our lives. Just remember how Christ himself saw it all as a perfect man and perfect God. And despite how he was sent to his death by the people, he forgave them without a second thought. He came back to life as the fulfillment of the prophecy and showed us the true light we need.

And for every darkness in our lives, there will be light. God will save us through all the challenges we face, because he loves us all. Never forget about how God never gave up on us despite all of our shortcomings and transgressions.

Work on a Veliki Petak

Here in Japan, I am just a factory worker and most Japanese people never know what happened in Good Friday. Good Friday or Veliki Petak, is the fulfillment of God's promise to save us from our sins by dying on the cross, conquering Hades and rising up on the third day.

However, every holy week(with the exception of 2016 Lent, Holy Week and Uskrs,) I can't go to church except for Holy Saturday Liturgy and Uskrs Liturgija. But since Good Friday precedes Holy Saturday, I can fast a bit despite having a work by avoiding meat, fish and dairy products; and make sure I remember the sacrifices of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and he loves us despite our grave sins to each other.

Today He who hung the earth upon the waters is hung upon the Cross (three times).
He who is King of the angels is arrayed in a crown of thorns.
He who wraps the heaven in clouds is wrapped in the purple of mockery.
He who in Jordan set Adam free receives blows upon His face.
The Bridegroom of the Church is transfixed with nails.
The Son of the Virgin is pierced with a spear.
We venerate Thy Passion, O Christ (three times).
Show us also Thy glorious Resurrection.
