I watched the game and they survive losing a big lead, Stefan Marković fouls out and suffering from the burnt of Nicolas Batum's 3 point barrage(8/12 3 poena) during the fourth quarter, trying to save Francuska to no avail.
Velika for Srbija! Majstore Košarkaška Srbija! From start to finish, Srbija is just a team, overwhelming Francuska's archangel offense and lazy defense. It really didn't matter if Srbija made doesn't have much NBA players but what stands out is their FIBA experience and their desire to bring back the gold that was last won back in 2002 when they beat Argentina in the finals but their Quarterfinal game against Sjedinjene Američke Države were Milan Gurović's 3 point barrage destroyed Amerika in that fourth quarter and won 81-78.
Could we see another Indianopolis at the gold medal game?
For showing deep respect and love for Srbija, i will put this beautiful instrumental of the Serbian national anthem, "Bože pravde."
