Shikatanai Attitude
Can someone tell me what is this ''Shikatanai'' attitude or Shikataganai? This attitude exists mostly on those of Japanese descent but also, within mainland Japanese.Shikata ga nai (仕方が無い), pronounced [ɕi̥kata ɡa nai], is a Japanese language phrase meaning "it cannot be helped" or "nothing can be done about it". Shō ga nai (しょうがない), pronounced [ɕoː ɡa nai] is an alternative.
The phrase has been used by many western writers to describe the ability of the Japanese people to maintain dignity in the face of an unavoidable tragedy or injustice, particularly when the circumstances are beyond their control. Historically, it has been applied to situations in which masses of Japanese people as a whole have been made to endure, including the Allied occupation of Japan and the internment of Japanese Americans and Japanese Canadians. Thus, when Emperor Shōwa was asked, in his first ever press conference given in Tokyo in 1975, what he thought of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, he answered: "It's very regrettable that nuclear bombs were dropped and I feel sorry for the citizens of Hiroshima but it couldn't be helped because that happened in wartime."
In Asian American Women: The "Frontiers" Reader, author Debbie Storrs states:
The Japanese phrase shikata ga nai, or "it can't be helped," indicates cultural norms over which one has little control... This notion of suffering in part stems from shikata ga nai: failing to follow cultural norms and social conventions led to a life of little choice but endurance of suffering. The phrase also can have negative connotations, as some may perceive the lack of reaction to adversity as complacence, both to social and political forces. In a Business Week article, a Western businessman says of Japanese people:
He encourages Japanese not to succumb to the shikata ga nai mentality but to get angry and start behaving like citizens. "Japanese people listen to me because I'm always pushing what the possibilities are and how things can change... to ensure positive economic and political prospects..."
I wonder if why i have that mentality even if i am just a Sansei or i was born not on Japanese soil but on Philippine soil, which many Filipino-Japanese doesn't care about internment since they never experienced it nor never learned of it.

Christmas-Christ is Born and not Xmas
Can be this the true spirit of Christmas? In my own words as a Christian, Christmas is the reason why we have Jesus Christ and the true symbol of our Christian birth. No matter what people say, they cannot add something commercial on the true essence of Christianity. I am not saying this for myself but for people to see why they are celebrating Christmas now. I haven't converted yet but i know what is true Christian and i know inside myself that Christmas is more than what the eye sees.
I hope this short article would continue to remind everyone that what is truly Christmas.
Merry Christmas and God bless

Insults
In somewhat of a travesty, Knez Aleksandar Karađorđević said "protocolary humiliation" during a recent event commemorating 100 years since the Battle of Kolubara. Hey wait, isn't this the Monarchy that was toppled by Commies in the 1940's and returned during and after the Milošević era? That said, why he felt betrayed? Here is why:
Namely, the Council said Karađorđević was "not enabled to place a wreath" during the ceremony, i.e., he was not invited to attend.
The statement also accuses the authorities of "not missing a chance to demonstrate their dedication to the bad tradition of Titoist heritage," which glosses over the role and significance of Kralj Petar I and heir to the throne, later Kralj Aleksandar I.
The statement further said that "a protocol that mandates bad manners is no protocol but instead thin and transparent fog that hides a lack of respect for the ceremony itself, its meaning and content."
The statement was signed by 18 members of the council, including author Matija Bećković, historian Čedomir Antić, academician Dušan Kovačević, and Faculty of Law professor Kosta Cavoski.
No other state in Europe fought so hard in two world wars than Srbija and lost most of its population by percentage but it seem that the current government doesn't recognize the family's efforts because their army was the Četnici or that term is currently a derogatory word in the whole Balkans but, hwo about the terms Ustaše or Šiptar?

Lies all by NoyNoy
I am hearing this stupid president says the Philippine Economy is improving. Why everyone there says the opposite? I never heard that my country attempts to be the new tiger but is is more of a chicken than a brave eagle these days. How about some Filipinos who betray their roots all because of these upheavals? This is not the Philippines i want to die for!!! Honestly!!
Who would want to die for this failed state? Not even worthy of the IMF funds that flows into it through a fake economic progress. How's that? It's hard for me to be anti-Filipino but the way Filipinos would say they are Filipinos but they would not want a radical change that will modernize the whole country. Democracy is becoming more of an afterthought than what it's true objectives is.
Can i say something in Filipino? Not much but if i have too, i will say this:
Kung mamatay lang din naman ako, sa lupang lalaki ang mga anak ko sa maayos na edukasyon at sa maayos na paligid at hindi sa isang bansang hindi man lang kayang baguhin ng kung sinong nakaupo!
That's it, because i am sick and tired of capitalists, communists and insurgents. Can we have an absolutist dictator or enlightened one? I will support it when time comes for the true change!

Russian Ruble trouble
As the Russian Ruble plummets, what is the most frustrating here is that the world does not care if Russia's economy would go down, all because of sanctions and Obama's grand imperialist ambitions. Why do you attack a country that does not threatened or attack any NATO member state? Ukraine is not a NATO member but still, Obama wanted the blood of the Slavs, Orthodox Christians and everything conservative.
In attempts to break the trend the CBR has hiked the key interest rate several times over the past few months. Back in March it was 5.5 percent, but was increased to 17 percent on Monday night – a change of 6.5 percentage points from the previous level set just one week previous.
Still the bank refuses to impose stricter regulation of currency markets like going back to massive market interventions or forcing exporting companies to sell a share of their profits in the market. Taking these actions “was not discussed in any way,” according to Economy Minister Aleksey Ulyukaev, who took part in an emergency meeting with government members and central bank officials on Tuesday evening.
The US tech giant Apple Inc. was quick to react, saying Tuesday it is suspending online sales in Russia due to the rapid descent of the ruble.
"Our online store in Russia is currently unavailable while we review pricing," Apple public relations representative Alan Hely told Bloomberg.
This is the second currency-related move by Apple since the ruble started its free fall. In November the company raised the price of the iPhone 6 by 25 percent in Russia.
Another warning came from the MSCI investment company that said Russia may be excluded from the MSCI Emerging Markets Index amid the recent economic distress.
It said Russia may be taken off the index if the Russian government chooses to start controlling capital flows or currency transactions, as "freedom of capital inflows and outflows is one of the main classification criteria for an emerging market."
So far Russia has said it will not introduce any form of capital controls.
The Russian government believes the ruble is currently undervalued and will rebound soon, as the rush to sell the currency eases and companies start buying it to pay taxes later this month.
The weakening of the ruble comes as a result of several factors, including the dropping price of oil, Western sanctions against Russia that made it much harder for Russian financial system to obtain foreign credit, and a panic that hit traders amid the market volatility.

Ravanica
Ravanica (Serbian Cyrillic: Раваница) is a Serbian Orthodox monastery on Kučaj mountains near Ćuprija in Central Serbia. It was built in 1375–1377 as an endowment of prince Lazar of Serbia, who is buried there. The Ravanica church is called the birthplace of the new artistic movement "Morava school" because of architectural and artistic features. It is original blend of the Mount Athos and the cross-in-square five-domed model that became standard in the time of King Milutin.
I want to go here in the mere future with my future wife. It is one honor for me to visit here. Of course i choose the name Lazar when i would be baptized in the future. I saw in this saint that he desired a heavenly kingdom than an earthly one. No one can make that desire but in our small ways, we can.
For example, i desire to have a heavenly family and even if i am not that of an angel, i will make that promise of teaching my wife and children what a true and happy family would mean. I may be idealistic but no one can deny this heavenly promise. It makes me think more of my desire to achieve what God really taught us. Humans do make mistakes but those who desire a happy family and a true Christian one would mean God is with us through every hardships we experienced.

Is this how i pay the price of true love?
Speaking of true love, i am paying the price of it. What people don't know is that i want to be with that girl no matter what. It is because i locked myself with her intentionally, meaning she will be that girl that i will live through the joys and pains. It is because i love her despite her facial defects or what people spread as a made up rumors.
However, my whole family would rather end up defaming for her look despite the fact she is Japanese. Is it fair to judge her by her face and not by her heart and desire to live? Haven't everyone noticed i am teaching her to pray and have a strong perception of life unlike before she met me? Is it that simple to choose my parents because they are my parents? Is that simple to leave someone i truly love and that very same girl that loved me more than my past relationships?
I don't took her for granted but i showed everyone i loved her despite her past or somewhat, my passiveness because i am being locked by my parents no how hard i want to get out of my leash. But i don't want to wait to have a baby with her but to build it now. I hope God make a way for me to be with her, even if it makes me lose much more. The more the pressure my parents are practicing, the more i want to go out and be with her for the rest of my life.

Zašto Srpska Političari?!?!
The article adds that "for this reason Belgrade has launched a comprehensive diplomatic campaign in many addresses to, as soon as possible, reformulate the Brussels recommendations and open the first chapter as soon as possible."
"If Serbia were to fulfill all that is demanded, the chances for which are small, European leaders could as soon as during the December summit schedule the next intergovernmental conference for the end of January when chapters 32 (financial control) and 35 (Kosovo) would be opened simultaneously," writes the newspaper.

Šta Problema Srpska Dinara?
BELGRADE -- The Serbian dinar (RSD) dropped 0.2 percent against the euro (EUR) to end the week at RSD 121.2160 for one euro on Friday. What does that mean? Uh oh. The pressure of the World Bank, IMF and EU that Srbija submit to EU supremacy and relinquish ties with Rusija.
Here's more. The Serbian currency dropped 1.6 percent against the eurozone single currency compared to a month earlier and 5.4 percent against a year earlier, the central bank (NBS) said.
When your economy is that being pressured by the Western imperialists, you will go down even if your recovering.
Thou shall not choose thy want alone.
Why people these days are having a relationship for want and not need? Most people are too selfish and not thinking of a happy family. Is it all money that people think as their God?!!? I simply hate the way this generation is thinking. Becoming gold-diggers for personal gain and not having a happy family.
The reason i chose that girl is because not she is Japanese and can give me that Visa i am seeking but because she gave me a new reason to live. A love that encompasses everything within sight. A love that no one will do because of her appearance. A love that God will give as a test and as a vow itself. Can't most people choose what love truly is? I haven't finished college yet but i was educated in the way Christians have, that is why i have taken it by heart.
Not all people have good intentions but all i want is that people will see what good intentions are truly taught us and why we should take it by heart.

Korina: Puwede bang sa kanilang lahat?(Could it be to them alone?)
Noli:Wag naman.(Not hopefully)

Marko Ivković, a victim of Turkish racism
It seems the Turkish racism continues, to the case of the recently killed Marko Ivković, whom i knew is not just a sports related violence but a clear view of racism and Turkish dominance. Why would Turkish sports fans kill someone like him who is just visiting the area for the sake of supporting his club against another?
The answer is simple. He is Srbi. No motives were found? If the Turkish authorities cannot find the suspect, it is either protecting it or somehow the government will not tell the public. I am truly sick about Turkey becoming a great country or being tolerant. Those are falsehoods and not what most people wanted to see. Can we let the Turks ravage the non-Muslim Balkan states again? Shedding blood in a sports event means questions to why. Even if i speculate, trust me. Turks killed in the name of the state a lot of times and it spread to sporting events.
I think the fans of Galatasaray should be educated! Uneducated murderers! Never seen the two sides of a coin and making sure the Turkish dreams of colonization of the Balkans continues through these horrendous killings!
This is the statement of Euroleague regarding the murder of young Marko:
Euroleague Basketball and its clubs, players and coaches throughout the continent join the world family of sports this weekend in mourning the death of a visiting fan to Istanbul on Friday and in condemning the senseless violence that took his life.
The 25-year-old stabbing victim, Marko Ivkovic, had travelled from Belgrade to support Crvena Zvezda Telekom in its road game against Galatasaray Liv Hospital Istanbul. The incident, which took place before his arrival to the arena, is under investigation of the Turkish authorities.
Euroleague Basketball has requested that both clubs and the Turkish authorities investigating the crime make available all the information about the incident and will evaluate any measures to be taken.
Through his club and Serbian authorities, Euroleague Basketball has expressed its deepest condolences to the victim’s family.
“This tragedy offends the true spirit of sports,” Jordi Bertomeu, President and CEO of Euroleague Basketball, said in a statement. “Violence has no place in our game, at our arenas or anywhere near them. It’s just the opposite. Respect between rivals dedicated to the same ideals should bring us all together. That is why we organize and play sports. Today, we must all refocus on those ideals.”

Izaberite Rusija nemoj Sankcije!
This member of the Serbian cabinet, responsible for EU integration, added that Hahn said Serbia is expected to, "in time," align its foreign policy with EU's policy.
"The government's position is clear. Every candidate country (for EU membership), and even every member-state, has a right to that special interest that is defined in an article, I won't quote all of it now - that is defined as being 'of essential importance to a country'," she said, and added that "for Serbia, that special interest is its relationship with Russia."
"During the negotiations, chapters remain open until they are completely harmonized. We are expected to have completely aligned policy the moment we join the EU as a full-fledged member. At the same time, the common foreign and security policy is not entirely coherent among member-states themselves, and they don't always have a united stance on everything."
What she said that every EU member doesn't have a united stance is true and even true. Examples are Spain and Greece, whom in their own terms decided not to recognize Kosovo as a State, which is good for them despite being an EU member state. Even Presdenik Tomislav Nikolić wants ties want Rusija more than some "Izdajnik" in the government. Let's hope he would not act like the izdajnik Superman.

Some Balkan News
The German media quoted her as saying that "this is not just about Ukraine - this is about Moldova, this is about Georgia, and if this continues then one will have to ask about Serbia and one will have to ask about the countries of the Western Balkans.”
Merkel made the remarks in Australia, addressing the Lowy Institute for International Policy.
"The Ukrainian crisis is not just a regional problem. No, in this case, we see that it affects all of us," said the German chancellor.
She warned that Russia, "in the old style of thinking, sees Ukraine as its sphere of influence and tramples on international law."
Old style? Moldavija? Gruzija! Come on! This is not a USSR reincarnation! This is Rusija of the 21st Century!

Srbija, This is It!
His plane touched down at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla International shortly before 13:00 CET, where family members, his party officials and activists all gathered to welcome him.
A brass band and his supporters chanting, "Vojo, Serb," and lighting flares were waiting outside the airport building.
Although it was announced Šešelj would address reporters, this did not happen and he instead immediately left the airport and headed for the Serb Radical Party (SRS) party headquarters in Zemun.
"The Hague threw me out of the dungeon in a brutal manner. I did not ask for it, nor did they set any conditions. They just wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible. I promised I would tear the Hague Tribunal apart. The struggle lasted somewhat longer, but one doesn't look a gift victory in the mouth," he said.
Šešelj today described them as politicians who renounced the ideology of Serb nationalism, becoming instead "servants of western powers." He said the UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague was "a wounded globalist beast that destroys the lives of Serb political and military leaders.
If that Nationalistic stance would be for the good of the Srpski Narod, why not? If it will cause more trouble than a solution, i would not support it. I am an opponent of ultranationalism because it denies even a foreigner to embrace his/her adopted homeland even if he/she adopts everything. But that is just my reminder, to make sure everything is fair and just and not just simple writing on this blog.

Srbi protive Albanski....
"For two and a half years Serbia has been making an effort aimed at the Balkans becoming a safe and prosperous region in Europe - but as long as there are irresponsible politicians like Edi Rama, it is clear it will be a job filled with challenges," the statement said.
