I am being disturbed in a while hearing news about this, this.......Mindanao Autonomy under MILF or MNLF or whoever they are. What makes me disturbed is that only Muslim ARMM was happy but not all of Mindanao and my beloved country. Also, i believed that the Autonomy was done by President Noynoy Aquino to appease the groups of Muslim separatists(MILF and MNLF). Well, why not ask all of Mindanao if they approved of the Autonomy? What would most of them will answer? NO!! NO!! NO!!
Mindanao cannot support itself if the whole island is if not an autonomous one, an independent nation(imagine Kosovo). Mindanao is the Muslim Jerusalem of the Philippines. Backbone of the important Muslim minority in my beloved country. Also, Christians and Muslims live side by side in most areas of economic and social importance to prove to the world that the Philippines will not surrender to separatism!
But what i am hearing, giving 30% of your archipelago will be a dangerous precedent for separatism like what the world is currently experiencing. It will make Nur Misuari become a madman with more territory for himself than for the common good of Christians and Muslims inhabiting the once beautiful Mindanao. Or, the Kiram dynastic family will use it to retake Sabah, which was ours but not more claims were made after a referendum during the 60's were Sabahnese voted to remain with Malaysia.
While the world is supplying terrorists in Syria and endangering the Christian and Shiite populations, say no to what is deemed as politically correct decisions. Say no to a division of a country. Say no to selfish politicians who care about land for themselves! We are Filipinos, not Tagalogs or Bisayanas or Ilokanos or Bikolanos or Moros!!!! Let's revive our nationalism and not foreign interference and internal strife!!

Bangsamoro and ARMM won't last if it remained outside the Philippine Government. Autonomy, no matter how 'free' the word may sound is limited at best. They wouldn't dare go with Malaysia (because Malaysia is notorious for imprisoning and kicking out of Filipinos in Sabah). However, autonomy grants the freedom for a region to be a part of or be apart from a country-host. So far, the Bangsamoro and ARMM are still a part of our country and inhabitants therein says so. You may search for how the Zamboangenos attached Philippine flags on each of their gates during the MILF attack. Mindanaoans are Filipinos at heart. So I think they aren't extreme separatists. What about the tribes in the Cordilleras? They haven't pressed their buttons yet. Or may be they'll never. This means all of our regions still trust the Philippine Government.
